RECIPES

Pickle & Avocado Tartare
Ingredients
| thinly sliced pickles (preferably brined) | 1 cup |
| ripe avocado | 1 |
| finely chopped chives or red onion | 1 tablespoon |
| dijon mustard | 1 tablespoon |
| salt, to taste | |
| pepper, to taste | |
| juice of 1/2 lemon |
Instructions:
- Cut the avocado into small cubes and place it in a bowl.
- Add the sliced pickles and chopped onion.
- Add the mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Gently mix until all the ingredients are well combined.
- Serve as an appetizer or with toasted bread or crackers.

Pickle & Cream Cheese Toasts
Ingredients
| preferred bread | 4 slices |
| cream cheese | 1/2 cup |
| brine-based pickles, chopped | 1/4 cup |
| fresh or dried dill | 1 teaspoon |
| garlic powder (optional) | 1 teaspoon |
| Olive oil (for toasting the bread) |
Instructions:
- Toast the slices of bread in a pan with a little olive oil until golden and crispy.
- While the bread is toasting, mix the cream cheese with the chopped pickles, dill, and garlic powder (if using).
- Generously spread the cream cheese mixture over each slice of toasted bread.
- Serve as an appetizer or a quick snack.

Chicken and Pickle Wrap
Ingredients
| chicken breast (cooked and shredded ) | 1 |
| thinly sliced pickles | 1/2 cup |
| mayonnaise | 1 tablespoon |
| mustard | 1 teaspoon |
| lettuce leaf | 1 |
| flour or corn tortilla | 1 |
| salt, to taste | |
| pepper, to taste |
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with mayonnaise, mustard, pickles, salt, and pepper.
- Place the tortilla on a flat surface and lay the lettuce leaf in the center.
- Add the chicken and pickle mixture on top of the lettuce.
- Roll the wrap tightly and cut it in half.
